About Us...
In July 2007, five members of the Florida Ghost Team (FGT) of Ft. Lauderdale – a T.A.P.S. affiliate – realized the importance of spreading the message of what they believed to be paranormal events to those in need of assistance. In order to advance this mission, one member understood the need to bring her leadership and management experience with the FGT to the greater public. She, along with four other investigators, founded P.O.I.N.T. or Paranormal Organization Investigating New Truths.
Since 2007, P.O.I.N.T. has expanded its mission of assisting individuals, families and business owners in understanding the events they have experienced, paranormal in nature or not. Adhering strictly to accepted scientific and forensic protocols, our investigative team bases its opinions on the evidence collected, and then makes its conclusion and recommended course(s) of action only after every avenue of inquiry has been satisfied.
P.O.I.N.T. has been involved in the investigation of numerous paranormal occurrances throughout Florida. With investigators residing from as far north as Palm City to as far south as Pompano Beach, our members come from diverse backgrounds and consist of both blue and white collar workers. An appreciation for such diversity motivates our team to accept and assist our clients, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background.
Having conducted investigations from south Miami to Gainesville, P.O.I.N.T. is the most active and responsible group of paranormal investigators in southeast Florida, relying on ethics and compassion (verses notoriety and association). We have conducted "commercial" investigations on numerous occasions including the Clewiston Inn, the Cuban Club in Tampa and the Morgan Street Jail, but our primary focus remains that of investigating phenomena in private residences.
